Kanti Jadhav,( Mumbai): In a broad daylight robbery, a gang of four armed men escaped with gold and diamonds worth Rs 2 crore from a jewellery showroom in peak hour in Mira Road area of Thane district of Maharashtra. The entire robbery was captured on the showroom’s CCTV camera.Around 2 pm Thursday, four men, covering their faces with masks, entered ‘S Kumar Gold and Diamonds’ showroom in a Shanti Nagar, Mira Road. One of them, suddenly, pulled out a gun and threatened the staff while others began picking up ornaments. Within 15 minutes, the four walked out with bags filled with gold and diamonds worth Rs 2 crore. According to police, the four unidentified suspects arrived at the store on two motorcycles. One of the suspects developed a snag and helped two of them flee on foot while leaving the two-wheeler behind. The other fled on the second bike.Police suspect that the vehicles were stolen and that the suspects might have conducted a recce of the showroom.
